Signs, Signs & More Signs!

Indoor Suites, Storefronts, and Hanging Signs – Creative, Impactful, Fantastic!

We’ve been doing some very creative and interesting work around town – designing, creating and installing signs for our clients in and around Grand Rapids, Michigan. Printing on vinyl and window film, cutting vinyl and window film – custom produced to suit each particular need. Below is cut vinyl graphics for the storefront of The Feet Suite in Grand Rapids:

Interior offices that need identification have many options. Doors, sidelights and glass walls can be filmed with privacy film that is printed with logos and suite identification – or applied cut graphics. Below is examples of the custom work we did for the Gerald R. Ford Airport:

The Airport’s Sign and Logo is Printed and Cut out of 3M Transparent Window Film that Produces a Semi-Translucent Look on the Door of the Administrative Offices

The interior suite windows and door of King Media in Ada includes a 48″ band of frost film with “King Media” and their “K” logo cut out of the same frost film. The tone on tone layering of frost film creates a subtle elegant look to their entrance:

Blues Gym in Grand Rapids had a hand painted sign that was very old and needed a face lift. Our Graphic Designer recreated the custom images, keeping the integrity of their theme, and printed it out on vinyl to make a brand new sign for the gym:

Lastly, Spectrum Health Outpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapy had us print and cut their custom graphics – as well as cut vinyl signage for their storefront in Grand Rapids. The result – picture perfect:

Store hours, a phone number and web address is fantastic information to display. Custom Counter Top in Grand Rapids had us custom cut and install it all over bands of brown vinyl on the upper third of their storefront windows. Custom graphics is the way to go for economical advertising!

One Way Window Film adds Privacy and Comfort for Health Care

There is a “Cloud of Monarchs” at Spectrum Health Pediatric Rehab!

Visiting a hospital or Physician’s Office whether you are a patient or accompanying a patient can often lead to feeling anxious. A pleasant office setting and atmosphere can really help those nerves.

Health Care Design Professionals have made it a point to take great measures to not only protect privacy – but to create a much more calming environment by adding artwork and visual interest with window film!

**One Way 50/50 Printed Window Film at Spectrum Health Pediatric Rehab Offices**

Printed artwork on 50/50 Perforated Vinyl Window Film can produce the one-way visual effect that many healthcare facilities are looking for. Instead of completely blocking the view from both sides with a semi-opaque privacy film such as a frosted etch, a 50/50 Perforated Vinyl gives the flexibility of one-way privacy. The bonus is that it can be printed with bright and beautiful images to warm up the space.

Frost Window Film Hides What’s Inside

A Great Solution and a Fantastic Look!

Frost window film is a great privacy solution for corporate offices that have glass walls and doors to private conference rooms and offices. On many occasions mechanical and IT equipment can be installed in an area that is better off shrouded in privacy – hiding the equipment housed inside the room.

This IT room in an office in Rockford, Michigan had 3 large glass panels that needed to be filmed in order to camouflage it’s interior equipment. Frost Window Film was the perfect solution for the job. Decorative film comes in a variety of designs and patterns, offering subtle to complete opaque privacy.

In a residential setting – glass door cabinets and pantries are popular to film in order to hide the contents inside. Window Film can create the look of etched, rain, or antique glass. There are so many options to choose from, and you will find that Decorative Film is a much more economical alternative to custom glass.

Printed Window Film for Interior Design

Beautiful Decorative Distraction Privacy!

Printable window film is available in optically clear, clear translucent, frosted, white opaque and perforated one-way vinyl. Designing window panels with a high-resolution image file is just one of the elements needed for a successful sizable mural installation.

For this Spectrum Health installation in the Cafeteria of the Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, we worked collaboratively with their Senior Interior Designer, and purchased their selected artwork from henrydomke.com. After performing several print trials on different translucent vinyls with varying degrees of image opacity, we achieved the desired level of distraction privacy and element of design that matched their vision.

A careful field measurement was taken of each glass panel that made up wall sections of the area – and each panel was custom designed to size and section so that the design would continuously flow throughout the space.

The result was amazing. The translucent panels complemented the furnishings and fixtures of the space, and created a subtle design element that provided a sense of privacy throughout this common area of the hospital.

With window film – the possibilities are endless! This is a perfect example of how interior glass walls can be transformed into purposeful artistic interior design. What a great solution for subtle privacy!

Creating An Art-Alternative to Decorative Privacy Film

Printed One-Way Perforated Vinyl is the best of both worlds!

Working with the Spectrum Butterworth ER Trauma Clinic – we’ve taken decorative privacy to a whole new level for their patients and staff. What was once clear glass door and windows panels on imaging rooms are now covered with one-way perforated vinyl art that is visible from the outside, see thru from the inside. The bonus is – these images are simply beautiful!

The art (above) was chosen from Henry Domke Fine Art @ HenryDomke.com – who specializes in Nature Art for Healthcare. Our graphics department produced these images in a continuous mural form to span several windows – as well as for a singular window installation.

**Installation of Online-Sourced Art that 5 Star Printed and Installed at Spectrum Butterworth, Grand Rapids.**

Printing on perforated vinyl is a great alternative when one-way privacy is needed. Mural graphics can also be printed on completely opaque vinyl film to provide privacy on both sides of the glass. Images chosen must be in a high enough resolution to withstand enlarging without pixelation. Our graphics department will ensure the best quality possible so we can deliver a result that exceeds expectations!
